December 1963. Richard Demarco in the first group exhibition at the Traverse Gallery (Traverse Theatre), Edinburgh. The painting on the back wall is one of the Fire Streak series by Bryan Wynter and the disc sculpture on the right is by William Featherston. The exhibition brought together Scottish artists with arts of the school of St. Ives.
