20 August - 9 September 1972.Magdalena Abakanowicz's installation for Atelier '72 (contemporary Polish art) at the RDG, 8 Melville Crescent, Edinburgh, presented in collaboration with the Lodz Museum of Art for the Edinburgh International Festival. The work is her red rope which exited the first floor window and linked the gallery with St. Mary's Cathedral, in Palmerson Place. Photograph by George Oliver.
