Edinburgh Arts participants lying down on the phallus of the Cerne Abbas Giant (or 'The Rude Man'), a 180-foot high figure of uncertain antiquity cut into the chalk hillside above Cerne Abbas village, near Dorchester, Dorset. According to local tradition, young women wanting to conceive would spend a night within the giant's phallus. Edinburgh Arts 1978.
