The research for this documentary exhibition (about the dying practice of Scottish West Coast ring-net herring fishing) was funded by the Scottish International Education Trust (founded by Sean Connery in 1970). The resulting exhibition was shown at Third Eye Centre, Glasgow and the Richard Demarco Gallery (RDG), Edinburgh, in 1978. The Ring Net Archive is now in the collection of the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art, Edinburgh.
