4-8 June 1977. The American artist William Wiley and the the Serpent Stone, the central and earliest (7th century AD) of the three Pictish sculptured stones at Aberlemno, Angus, Scotland. A symbolic snake is at the top; beneath is a 'Z-rod' which traverses a double disc, and at the base are a comb and mirror. Edinburgh Arts 1977.
