11-16 August 1976. Prof. John MacQueen of the School of Scottish Studies, University of Edinburgh, with Edinburgh Arts participants, at Torphichen Preceptory, Torphichen village, near Bathgate, West Lothian. The Preceptory dates originally from the 13th century and was gifted by King David I to the Hospitaller Knights of St. John. It was largely rebuilt in 1756. Edinburgh Arts 1976.
