10 August 1976. The symbol side of the Pictish sculptured stone known as the Battle Stone, at Aberlemno, Angus (c. 710 AD). Below the symbols are scenes though to be of the Battle of Nechtansmere (fought in 685 AD). The reverse side carries an intricately carved cross. The drilled hole is modern. Edinburgh Arts 1976.
