4 or 7 August 1984. Professor Robert O'Driscoll (Director of the School of Celtic Studies, St. Michael's College, University of Toronto) speaking at the twelve-day conference/event Art and the Human Environment (3 -14 August), part of the programme for Demarcation '84 for the Edinburgh International Festival. O'Driscoll is either introducing as chairman the subject of day two (Homage to the Barque 'Marques' and 'Edinburgh Arts' Voyages 1979-1980) or presenting his address entitled The Celtic World and Contemporary Consciousness.
