3 August 1984. Visit to Ian Hamilton Finlay's garden, Little Sparta, at Stonypath, Lanarkshire, on day one (Expedition to Glasgow from Edinburgh via 'Little Sparta') of the twelve-day conference/event Art and the Human Environment (3 -14 August), part of the programme for Demarcation '84 for the Edinburgh International Festival.
