Henning Christiansen (centre, part hidden, in yellow) and George Wyllie (foreground, right) on Rannoch Moor, Argyllshire, erecting Wyllie's memorial spire to Joseph Beuys. This work (which repeated an action by Wyllie with a larger spire on the moor earlier in the year) and Henning Christiansen's performance 180 Hammerstrokes Against the War Monkeys and Ursula Reuter Christiansen's poem The Peaceful Green Hammer (also on Rannoch Moor), with the Christiansens' Celtic Mouth performance at Edinburgh College of Art (14 August) marked the 25th anniversary of Joseph Beuys's 1970 action on Rannoch Moor, of Strategy: Get Arts and of Henning Christiansen's collaborative work with Beuys, Celtic (Kinloch Rannoch) Scottish Symphony. 1995 Summer School, led by Richard Demarco.
