August 1963. Unidentified, with poster and painting by Richard Demarco in the window of Henry Decor Gallery, Lothian Road, Edinburgh. The exhibition, Watercolour Paintings of Brittany and Normandy, followed Demarco's first solo exhibition at the Douglas and Foulis Gallery. It was held during the Edinburgh Intenrational Festival and was visited by the American playwright Edward Albee, in Edinburgh for the 1963 Writers' Conference.
