1978. Half boat model and plan from Will Maclean's exhibition The Ring Net at Third Eye Centre, Glasgow, later shown at the RDG, Monteith House, 61 High Street, Edinburgh. Maclean's research for this documentary exhibition (about the dying practice of Scottish West Coast ring-net herring fishing) was funded by the Scottish International Education Trust (founded by Sean Connery in 1970). The Ring Net Archive is now in the collection of the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art, Edinburgh.
