20 August - 15 September 1979. Ryszard Stanislawski (second, right) in the exhibition S.I. Witkiewicz 1885-1939, at the Fruitmarket Gallery, Edinburgh. The Fruitmarket concurrently presented Henryk Stazewski, Recent Paintings. Both were part of Awangarda Polska,  presented by the RDG in association with the Polish Ministry of Culture, at the Fruitmarket, the RDG Monteith House, and 179 Canongate, during the Edinburgh International Festival.
