The Gaelic poet Somhairle MacGill-Eain (Sorley Maclean) speakingĀ at the twelve-day conference Art and the Human Environment (3 -14 August), part of the programme for Demarcation '84 for the Edinburgh International Festival. Maclean is contributing either to theĀ session The Experience of Artists in Relation to Scotland on Board 'The Marques' (day two, Homage to the Barques 'Marques' and 'Edinburgh Arts' Voyages 1979-80) or to the session Gaelic Culture in Relation to Scotland (day five, International-National-Indigenous Art and the Human Environment).
